The father of Aryan Khan's co-accused Arbaaz speaks up: 'They're innocent.'

Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, was detained in Mumbai in connection with a drug-related offence.

Aslam Merchant also mentioned the Narcotics Control Bureau in an interview, saying that the investigation agency has been "quite courteous to the kids."
During a raid on a Goa-bound cruise ship, the NCB seized Aryan, the son of actor Shah Rukh Khan, and numerous others. On Monday, the NCB requested that Aryan, Arbaaz, and Munmun Dhamecha be held in detention until October 11.
The judge, however, only extended their custody until October 7.

"All of the charges are false, but they are being investigated.
It is far too early to make any conclusions at this time.
The NCB has been extremely helpful and accommodating to the children.
As a lawyer, I have faith in the judicial system.
The truth will win out, and they will go away unscathed.
They're completely innocent "Times Now spoke with Aslam Merchant.

When asked about the suspected illegal narcotics discovered on Arbaaz, he stated, "Whatever was discovered was discovered on board the ship, not on the surface.
They didn't even attempt to board the ship.
They were visitors."

The NCB testified in front of a local court on Monday that it had discovered "shocking and incriminating" material in Aryan's and two others' WhatsApp communications.

According to Aslam Merchant, "There are no drug-related WhatsApp conversations. They hadn't even thought about it.It was merely a spur-of-the-moment decision to go to the ship. They had been invited. They just made a decision out of nowhere. He was scheduled to have dinner with me and had breakfast with me."

According to Aryan Khan's lawyer, no drugs were found in his client's possession.
Six more people were detained later: Nupur Satija, Ishmeet Chadha, Mohak Jaiswal, Gomit Chopra, Vikrant Chhokar, and a drug supplier from Juhu (name withheld).
