IPL 2021: MS Dhoni, the captain of Chennai Super Kings, wowed the crowd with some massive sixes in a practise game ahead of their encounter against Mumbai Indians on Sunday.

MS Dhoni warmed up for the IPL 2021 resume in style in a practise game for his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the UAE, and cricket fans across the world were treated to a six-hitting masterpiece.Dhoni was seen whacking the pacers and spinners to various parts of the ground in a video uploaded by CSK, with the ball going over the boundary line on many occasions.The sight of Dhoni mucking the ball and displaying his outstanding hand-eye coordination in the IPL will serve as a warning to opposing bowlers.
With his explosive striking, Dhoni went 360 degrees, covering practically every part of the ground.
CSK and Dhoni fans, on the other hand, would love to see their "Thala" continue in this form into the main event.
Before Covid stopped the proceedings and brought IPL 2021 to a standstill, Dhoni had only 37 runs in seven matches for CSK.
Dhoni failed to play a significant knock in the little opportunities he had, despite hitting those runs at a strike rate of 123.33.
However, Dhoni's form did not prevent CSK from outperforming their opponents and finishing second in the points table behind Delhi Capitals.CSK has five victories and two loses in seven matches.
As the tournament progresses, Ambati Rayudu, Sam Curran, Suresh Raina, and Ravindra Jadeja could once again prove to be Dhoni's go-to players.
The IPL returns on September 19 in the UAE, with the Dhoni-led team facing Mumbai Indians in the first match of the season.
